We have just added on-demand playback on the v5 mobile apps for iOS and Android. Any on-demand files that you upload for your Cirrus™ desktop player can now be played on your mobile apps (audio on-demand files only). All on-demand files are uploaded via your Radio Control Panel, under the green DESKTOP PLAYER button. On-demand files can be accessed via the slide-out menu.
Once you choose the on-demand menu, you can select which file you want to listen to. You can always return back to the live stream by going back to the on-demand selection menu and choosing "Live Stream."
Once a file is chosen, it takes you back to the now playing page to play the file. On-demand files work the same on the mobile apps as they do on the desktop. You can slide the progress bar to go forward or back.
You can test out the on-demand by downloading our demo apps here: iOS and Android. If you'd like to have the new on-demand feature on your mobile apps, you will need to submit a new worksheet as this requires an update to your apps. You can submit worksheets here.
